Superwoman is really Lois Lane’s sister, Lucy Lane. Sent to spy on New Krypton wearing an advanced suit which mimics Kryptonian powers under orders from her father General Sam Lane. She later becomes increasingly mentally unstable and becomes an enemy of Supergirl.
Her hood is a separate piece of plastic from the cape.
Mon-El
Mon-El is actually a Daxamite, an alien race similar to Kryptonians in terms of powers but have a different type of weakness, lead. Mon-El needs to take an antidote every once in while to become temporarily immune to lead exposure while substituting for Superman on Earth during the events of New Krypton. Even briefly joining the new Justice League alongside D!ck Grayson (as Batman) and Donna Troy.
