G.i Joe Club Final 12 Slaughter’s Marauders Barbecue and Low Light

Slaughter’s Marauders Barbecue

I never really got why there was a fireman needed in a military specialist organization like the Joes. It didn’t seem to make sense, but then again, some of the stuff that happens in the cartoons can really push the boundaries of what does. It is what it is, I suppose.

Nameplate is brown, just like the ones from the Final Joecon boxset.

Nice team logo here.

As a figure, SM Barbecue doesn’t come with any real offensive weaponry, just his hose and gear for putting out fires.

He comes with an axe, I guess that’s something to for the Cobras?

Comparison with the Barbecue from the BBTS Marauders 7-pack.

According to his bio, Barbecue is the life of the party, a real party animal and fun guy to have all around? So basically he should be like Michelangelo from the Ninja Turtles? What?

Slaughter’s Marauders Low-Light

Low-Light will always have a special place in my heart, as the first Joe figure that I ever had that mattered when I was a kid (previously only got Wet Suit, kinda meh).

Like the other versions, his goggles are removable.

He comes with a communicator (?)

Nice logo on the backpack. The backpack can also be opened up.

He also comes with a knife and an Uzi.

Knife can be sheathed.

Low-Light comes with a scope for his rifle, the scope is plugged into his left leg by default in the package.

His sniper rifle can be taken apart.

Comparison with the BBTS Marauders 7-pack version.

Overall, a decent set. But I’m really glad I waited for it to go down on clearance at the JoeClub store last year. With this set, I can close the book on my hunt for the Slaughter’s Marauders done in Modern Era style.
