Well, Takara Tomy finally managed to roll out this toy, for a while it was nearly cancelled (due to low sales of the USB Flashdrive figures? Not really sure.
The alternate mode for Broadblast is a mini version of the Toshiba Satellite laptop. It doesn’t really function as a laptop but it is a fully functional USB hub, with 4 working ports (think of it as an octopus outlet for USB Flash drives).
Thanks to the clear plastic used for the back of his head, light-piping makes Broadblast’s eyes “glow”. Speaking of plastic, the figure is only plastic, no diecast parts, it roughly weighs 150 Grams.
G1 cassettes can also fit in his chest.
Device Label Broadblast is somewhat in-scale with Device Label MP3 player Soundwave.
I guess these guys will be my new default figures for the Classics/Henkei group shots.
