Marvel Legends Marvel 80th Anniversary Hulk Vs. Wolverine
Wolverine here is shown in his “first appearance” costume from the pages of “The Incredible Hulk#181”. He was first shown as a Superhuman agent working for the Canadian government sent to stop a rampaging Wendigo and he winds up fighting the Incredible Hulk.
James “Logan” Howlett is a skilled fighter and possesses a “healing factor” which heals all wounds and injuries almost immediately, no matter how grievous. He also has a special form of metal called “Adamantium” grafted onto his skeleton that makes his bones indestructible, extending all the way to his claws.

Hmm… seeing as how all the other Wolverines out there have a darker shade of blue on their costumes, this guy actually has the right shade of blue. Hopefully I can swap the heads around to make a proper Wolverine. (Update: the shade of yellow for the “Love Triangle” 3-pack Wolverine is a decent match to this figure, not perfect but close enough, compared to the rest.)
Hulk
Doctor Bruce Banner is hit with Gamma Radiation during an experimental bomb test while trying to save teenager Rick Jones. Resulting in the good doctor being exposed to massive amounts of radiation. As a result, he transforms into the green-skinned Incredible Hulk whenever he becomes agitated, angry or anxious.
In the Marvel universe, Bruce Banner is recognized as one of the top smartest men on the planet (4th smartest, according to Norman Osborn). While Hulk has no finite limit when it comes to strength (the angrier Hulk gets, the stronger he becomes). An interesting mix.
I really love that they included a butterfly joint for this figure!
OK, is it just me or does Hulk’s feet seem small? They seem really disproportional to the rest of his body for me.
The set comes with a torn lab coat to drape on Hulk, just like in his first appearance.
I think this may well be my favorite Hulk figure yet!
A cool discovery here, you can fit Wolverine’s arm onto Hulk’s hand. This was how I was able to make this “charging” pose.
