Transformers Earthrise Deluxe Class Cliffjumper
Cliffjumper’s star map reads “Dead Universe”.
I really, really hate the bare chest on this guy. So I decided to put a sticker on him to make him look more G1-ish.
Reckless and impulsive, Cliffjumper is often the first to strike and usually ends up biting off more than he can chew. A brave and daring Autobot, Cliffjumper is one of the fastest moving ‘bots in vehicle mode on the Autobot team.
Oof…. that backpack..
Fortunately, it can be removed.
Better.
The backpack can then be used as a shield.
Cliffjumper comes with a large cannon, similar to his weapon in the first episode of the 1984 series.
“I’ve got Megatron in my sights. ”
His cannon can be disassembled into various pieces.
Blasters (Glass Gas guns?)
The third piece of his disassembled cannon can post into the slot in his bicep.
Vehicle mode
Cannon can be mounted onto vehicle mode.
The bazooka can also be disassembled and refit onto the vehicle mode to recreate his hydrofoil mode, from the episode “Dinobot Island”.
Overall, a pretty neat Cliffjumper figure. But I’m not sure how I feel about it being priced as a Deluxe when it’s just slightly taller than Legends Class figures. It also doesn’t quite scale well with other Legends-scaled Minibots either (he’s taller than everyone?), so that’s a bit annoying.
