Marvel Legends Wakanda Forever Black Panther (Shuri)
Following the passing of her brother, T’Challa, Shuri eventually figures out a way to recreate the “Heart-shaped Herb” that granted the bearer of the mantle of the Black Panther unique strength and durability. She then takes her place as the new Black Panther.
The set really doesn’t offer much, just spare hands. We don’t even get an unmasked Shuri head. Hasbro is really not giving folks much bang for the buck here.
At least the body details are nicely done.
Depending on the angle of her poses, the figure’s head can seem too big for her body sometimes.
The big fight at the end of the movie was sorta OK I guess, given the sudden passing of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, the movie production really had its work cut out for them, I was certainly expecting something more for Shuri to fight and not just Namor.
Overall, I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth with this set. The lack of accessories felt like a cash grab. It’s worse when you realize the SRP has gone up even more (locally anyway) when this came out. I only picked this up since stocks of it were dwindling when I checked around various stores and it seemed unlikely this will reach clearance, so I bit the bullet on it. Sigh…
