G.i. Joe Classified #146 Dreadnok Zandar
Zandar is Zartan’s younger brother. A master of stealth and camouflage, Zandar can stay hidden for hours waiting for his intended target to show up, remaining motionless the entire time.
Zandar would be so much more intimidating if he didn’t come with a pink neckerchief.
Zandar comes with a special dagger that can be sheathed on his right thigh, as well as a smaller dagger hidden in the small of his back.
For a “master of stealth”, I find it super ironic this guy is decorated with a lot of shiny bling.
Zandar also comes with a sidearm that can be holstered on his vest.
In keeping with his “stealth” motif, Zandar comes with a bolt-firing rifle
Lastly, Zandar comes with his backpack of bolts for his bolt rifle. Too bad the bolts aren’t removable.
Overall, not too shabby.
Zandar was always something of a background character for me, nothing about his history really stood out and he was like another random member of the Dreadnoks gang (that and he’s Zartan’s brother for some reason). Getting Zandar is more about completing the group, than actually getting him for the character itself IMHO.
Hasbro’s oddball pre-order codename for Zandar was Homer, from The Simpsons cartoons.
