Transformers Age of the Primes Deluxe Class Slingshot
An arrogant loud-mouth with a cocky attitude, Slingshot is most likely the one Aerialbot most Autobots can’t stand. As the weakest and smallest member of the team, Slingshot loves to brag to cover up his personal insecurities. But underneath it all, Optimus Prime sees the heart of a good, loyal soldier and tends to give Slingshot more understanding than other Autobots do.
Thankfully, at least Hasbro painted his hands to give him more screen-accuracy.
He comes with two of his Neutron Rifles.
Be warned though, the guns tend to fall off quite easily. I think there’s a mold error here somewhere.
Slingshot is the only Aerialbot with VTOL capabilities (Vertical Take-Off and Landing).
Slingshot’s Neutron Rifles can be mounted under his wings in Jet mode.
Overall, a nice update to the old Combiner Wars version. Like the rest of the Age of the Primes combiner releases, this version is more screen-accurate. Admittedly, the back section of his robot mode looks a bit odd due to the lack of wings, so he’s not quite screen-accurate in that view. The guns also tend to fall off a bit easily on my copy, which can be a bit annoying at times.
