Marvel Legends Secret Wars Titania

Mary MacPherran was a scrawny girl before Doctor Doom transformed her into a beautiful and powerful woman, capable of going toe-to-toe with the likes of Thing and She-Hulk. Renaming herself Titania, she begins working for Doom as a professional criminal.

Soon after she began her criminal career, she falls in love with the supervillain known as the Absorbing Man. The duo eventually get married. Aww..

It’s nice to see Hasbro keep her outfit’s spikes intact.

Her headsculpt is pretty good. Too bad my copy has some paint bleeds on her right side from her mask.. sigh..

I also sort of wish she came with the same hairstyle as it was in the original Secret Wars comics, but I guess Hasbro didn’t want to blow the budget by making her hair too big.

Similar to She-Hulk, she’s kinda tall compared to most female Marvel Legends.

She doesn’t come with much, though, just an extra pair of hands.

Lastly, as a throwback to the vintage Super Powers line’s accessories, she comes with a shield that can hold swappable cards inside.

The shield clips onto Titania’s arm similar to Captain America’s shield.

Her back doesn’t have hole, so there’s no way to plug the shield into her back.

One of the cards has a lenticular “Secret Identity” hologram gimmick just like the vintage toy line. Too bad the other is just a simple cardboard cut-out of the Secret Wars logo.

When Titania throws here mighty shield…

With her arch nemesis, She-Hulk!

Overall, pretty OK. At least we get a new female supervillain added to the ranks, and Titania is one of the more popular villains in the Marvel Universe. While it’s a shame we don’t get much in terms of accessories for her, at least get her in somewhat proper height next to She-Hulk.
