G.i. Joe Classified # 152 Cobra Pilot and Cobra C.L.A.W. (Covert Light Aerial Weapon)
Cobra Pilot

Cobra Pilots are Cobra “grunts” with basic flight training to allow them to properly pilot the Cobra CLAW into battle.

The set offers two different heads for the female Cobra Pilot, one Caucasian, while the other is African American.

There’s also a third “masked” head for the Cobra Pilot for higher altitude flights.

She comes with a sidearm weapon which can be holstered on her right thigh. No knife on this release, however.

There’s a huge silencer that can plugged into the sidearm.

The set also provides an uzi for the pilot to use.

Lastly, there’s also this huge automatic shotgun.

The shotgun features a removable ammo drum.

Cobra C.L.A.W. (Covert Light Aerial Weapon)

Cobra CLAWs are used to quickly fly below radar range, complete its mission and get out. Whether it be a simple snatch-and-grab or delivering a destructive payload on an unsuspecting enemy base, this Cobra vehicle is highly versatile and maneuverable.

Excellent detailing on the craft! It even features pivoting canards, ailerons, and wing tips in order to create details to make it more than “just a simple hang glider with rockets”.

Lol.. just so you’re sure what the name of the vehicle is…

Foldable landing gears.

7.6mm machine guns mounted on a rotating turret.

Two 10-lb. HE-8 Venom missiles located on the sides of the wings.

With the Cobra Pilot.

Thanks to the fins on the back of the vehicle, the figure can stand without using a display base to help prop them up.

Lastly, the set comes with effects parts for the rockets to simulate flight.

Overall, I love it! The vehicle looks really good and captures the look of the Cobra C.L.A.W. as it appears in the cartoons. The decision to include alternate race heads is always a welcome, but I do wish the set came with male Cobra Pilots, as I’m not really feeling the female troopers in the line, as we never really saw many (any?) female Cobra troopers in the comics or cartoons.
What I don’t love about it is the price, this thing is a bit on the pricey side, especially if you live outside the U.S. , I really wish we had options to order Hasbro Pulse items from where we are in the world without having to go through secondary market prices…
Hasbro’s oddball internal codename for pre-orders for the Cobra Pilot and Cobra C.L.A.W. (Covert Light Aerial Weapon) is TT Mancow.
This set is a Hasbro Pulse website exclusive.
