Transformers Studio Series TS-15 Deluxe Class Windcharger
Remember to rotate his shoulders so they face front in robot mode when opening him up the first time out of the box.
As the fastest Autobot over short distances, Windcharger can go from 0 to 60 MPH in the blink of an eye. He can also generate powerful magnetic fields, capable of shredding any magnetic object (including Decepticons), if he so chooses. Windcharger is also impulsive and has a short attention span, often leading to careless situations and burning himself out due to overuse of his magnetic abilities.
I gotta say, the designers did a bang-up job of making this guy. He really does look like he stepped out of the screen.
Like all of the other Minibots in the Deluxe Class line, Windcharger comes with a blaster now.
Surprisingly, Hasbro also included an effects part to showcase his magnetic abilities. It neatly plugs into his chest slot.
His weapon and effects part can be plugged into his back when not in use.
Windcharger’s weapon can be plugged into the bottom of the alt mode for storage.
His magnet effects part can also be plugged into the front grill of the vehicle mode.
Overall, I like it a lot! I was originally on the fence for this, as we already got a decent Legends Class Windcharger back in the Power of the Primes line, but this guy just feels more solid and scales better with the rest of the Deluxe Class Minibots. The addition of the magnet effects part is a nice add-on too. Definitely worth picking up to upgrade.
