Yolopark AMK Pro Voltes Five Legacy
The set comes with a plastic outer baggie for the box.

The box actually features an outer sleeve before you get the main box.

Do note that there are empty slots in one of the trays. These were originally intended for the batteries for lighting up the eyes. I guess Yolopark decided to just skip including these to avoid hassles with some countries.

I love it when companies tell you up front which parts are diecast on a figure. I wish everyone did this.

Created by the governments of Earth as the last line of defense in preparation of the coming Boazanian Empire invasion, Voltes Five is the only thing that can save the Earth from total domination. Piloted by five youths who battle valiantly to protect the planet, Voltes Five is nearly unstoppable!

This figure is the diecast version of the Yolopark Voltes Five Legacy release, with diecast parts and joints incorporated into the figure.

Based on the live-action TV remake of the classic 1970’s Anime series, Voltes Five is given a more modernized look, to give it a more grounded appearance.

I don’t know if this is accurate to the design models, but I do find the arms a bit too long to be proportional to the figure’s body.

Yolopark Voltes stands roughly 8.5 inches and weighs 378 Grams.

Interestingly, Yolopark decided to give Voltes a “weathered” paint finish.

Articulated fingers. Nice.

VOLTES’ ATTACKS
Knuckle Missiles!

Some parts swapping for the back of the fists will be required here.

Chain Knuckle! – a giant mace weapon launched from Voltes’ forearm.

I love how they used an actual chain here.

It’s a shame the final link in the chain is just plastic though.

I’m so glad this weapon is included here. The Soul of Chogokin Gx-118 Voltes V Legacy didn’t come with this accessory. It’s a shame you can’t place this on the Soul of Chogokin version, as the connections don’t match (both are male connectors).

Poor Photoshop skills go!

Voltes Bazooka! – a bazooka formed from Voltes’ forearm.

Admittedly, I had to cheat this shot a bit by being clever with the camera angles. The butterfly joints on this figure limit how close the arms can come together to perfectly pull off this pose.

Cho Denji String! -Voltes’ belts become whips.

Cho Denji Goma! – Giant tops are released from Voltes’ torso to work in tandem with the Cho Denji String. Voltes can toss these giant, spinning, bladed weapons to heavily damage its opponents.

As usual, some parts swapping is required here to get the tops in place.

I love how the bendy material for the whips holds the tops perfectly well without drooping. Hopefully they don’t deteriorate too fast with age.

Ten Ku Ken! – Voltes Five’s finishing attack. Once his sword is drawn from his chest, the battle is as good as won.
For show accuracy, remember to remove the hilt of the sword from his chest. Be careful though, as it seems like its pegs are fragile.

Laser Sword V-Slash!

Overall, I love it! The paint and details are very nicely done. I also love that this release comes with everything Voltes used in the live-action remake series. I think this is the only release to have all of its weapons.
This version also easily beats the general mass retail all plastic version, since the heft from the diecast parts here really improves the feel of the figure a lot!
Do be warned though, that once assembled, the figure is somewhat difficult to disassemble to return to the box. I just removed what I could to limit breakage but generally left the main body intact and stored into the bottom of the tray.
I wasn’t able to test the light up eyes on this figure, as I didn’t have the proper button battery, but it’s very cool that we get that option.
Probably the most amazing part of this figure is that this all came to just roughly $80 USD. That’s great value right there for something that’s 8+ inches tall has diecast, a lot accessories, plus a light up gimmick.
