McFarlane Batman Dark Knight Rises Catwoman & Batpod
Catwoman
Selina Kyle, a world-class cat burglar operating under the alias “The Cat”, sets her sights on Gotham City, after betraying Batman, she eventually regrets her actions and becomes an ally and partner for the Dark Knight.
The headsculpt looks really good here.
While it’s not super 100% accurate to actress Anne Hathaway’s facial features, it’s close enough.
The joints on the figure make it look really nice too. While it doesn’t quite work when the figure is in an ordinary “A” stance, Catwoman looks awesome when you put her in action poses.
Selina comes with optional open hands.
Very nice.
Just like in the Dark Knight Rises move, her goggles can be moved down to cover her eyes, it’s a bit tight, but looks great when properly lowered, as there are no visible gaps
I really love how the guys behind the movie came up with her goggles being a functional part of her costume, giving her the “cat-like” appearance when they’re flipped upwards. Hands down, my favorite Catwoman in any media.
Batpod
Batman’s main means of transport on the streets of Gotham. After the destruction of the Tumbler in the Dark Knight, the front section of the Tumbler ejects a small recon cycle for Batman to use. Faster and more mobile, the Batpod is also mounted with two front cannons for offensive and defensive purposes.

The cannons can be removed and placed back into the baggie. for storage in the box for those who are curious.
With the Cat.
According to the Dark Knight wiki, the Batpod was originally supposed to debut in the climax of Batman Begins, again, following the destruction of the Tumbler Batmobile by a rocket launcher. The idea was for Batman to ride the Batpod onto the train tracks in order to stop the Ra’s train from crashing into Wayne Tower. But that plan was scrapped due to budget concerns and they reworked the Batpod debut sequence into the second movie (The Dark Knight) instead.
Overall, I love it! While the Batpod itself isn’t really all that impressive, the Catwoman figure is really nice and two look great when displayed together.
I was apprehensive at first, since I already have the 6” Batpod from Mattel, so I really was planning on skipping on this. But recently, with the McFarlane DC License about to go bye-bye, this vehicle eventually went on clearance and I was too weak to pass on getting it.
