I was originally going to pass (or sell) this one, seeing as how teaser pics made it look like a simple shiny version of the All Star version. But upon seeing the figure in person, it actually looks really nice, it sort of makes me think of it as an “armored” version of his suit. At the very least, it certainly looks like the diecast 12″ Batman figure from Play Imaginative.
New 52 Batgirl
Barbara Gordon is back to being Batgirl again under the New 52, she regained her ability to walk after being shot by the Joker in “The Killing Joke” thanks to undergoing an experimental procedure. Which makes one wonder what happened to Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown in the New 52, did they ever become Batgirl?
She is a completely new figure, no rehashed parts from the old DC Batgirl figure.
It’s a shame she doesn’t come with any accessories though, a Batarang with Bat Rope would’ve been nice.
Classic Penguin
Penguin is a retool of the old DC Universe Classics figure, based on the vintage Super Powers Penguin design.

“The Big Three” Batman villains are finally here in all their “Classic” Glory. Now if only Mattel would release a Catwoman based on the Filmation Animated Batman series, then we’d be all set. 🙂

Under the new Batman Unlimited line, Mattel has once again cut costs, by dropping the base stands and posters that came with the Batman Legacy series.
