G.i. Joe Classified # 106 Dreadnok Buzzer
I love that Hasbro decided to use the same background for Buzzer and Ripper, with some slight changes.
Dick Blinken (Richard Blinken-Smythe) was once an extreme left-wing Cambridge sociology don who became obsessed with biker gangs after studying them for his research, eventually joining up with the mercenary terror group known as the Dreadnoks to express his repressed psychotic anger against society.
Remember to rotate his leg straps to the proper position. Mine came with the straps rotated all the way around to the back for some reason.
Hmm.. so his gun’s on his left thigh. I guess Buzzer is left-handed then?
Lol… without his shades on, he kinda looks like Duke?
Buzzer comes with a small knife and a pistol sidearm.
For added weaponry, he comes with a homemade “axe bat”.
Buzzer also comes with a chain blade melee weapon.
Lastly, Buzzer comes with his iconic “diamond-toothed” chainsaw.
Overall, pretty good. It’s a decent representation of the character and Hasbro didn’t take too many liberties with the redesign, thankfully. I do hate that the shades keep falling off. Somehow the ears aren’t pronounced enough to help hook the shades on right. It’s not too terrible, but it can get annoying.
Again, like Ripper, I was really hoping Hasbro threw in some cans of grape soda for the Dreadnoks (their favorite drink, lol). Sigh…
Hasbro’s oddball codename for Buzzer is Hobbes.
