G.i. Joe Classified Retro Carded Stalker

Lonzo R. Wilkinson was formerly the leader of a street gang before signing up for the army. Using the leadership skills he fostered growing up on the streets, Stalker becomes a highly capable field team leader in the military before joining G.i. Joe. His honed skills make him especially effective in his role in the intelligence and special operations division.

The figure is a redeco of the previous G.i. Joe Classified #46 release, this time more closely resembling his vintage toy deco design.

This would have been the perfect Stalker had they kept the beret to match the animation model color scheme instead of this camo-styled one. As a result, to get a perfect Stalker, you’ll need to keep the original #46 release just for the beret.

Stalker’s beret can be removed.

Yep, it’s the same headsculpt as the #46 version.

For basic weapons, Stalker comes with a knife that’s sheathed on his left thigh, with a sidearm and a silencer on his right thigh.

For added firepower, Stalker comes with a submachine gun.

Same as before, the ammo clip can be removed from the gun.

With the ammo clip removed, the rifle can be stowed away on his backpack, including a small pouch for the ammo clip.

For heavier firepower, Stalker comes with this full-fledged machine gun.

The ammo box for the machine gun can be removed as well.

Lock and load!!

Overall, pretty cool! I love the new deco over the old version, which was too dark and made Stalker disappear in a display due to the dull colors of that version’s uniform.

It is a shame that they went with a camo beret here instead of giving him the proper solid green beret. I guess folks will have to keep the version 1.0 of this guy around just for the beret.

Hasbro’s oddball internal codename for pre-orders for Retro Cardback Stalker is “Azrael”.
