At first glance, I thought the figures shared the same body sculpts. It turns out they are actually unique figures. There are some minor shared parts like the lower legs I guess, but the bodies and arms are different between each of the girls I think?
The CNC Figure- Rowan
Rowan hardly sports any articulation. Not one of Mattel’s better CNCs.
The scale is spot on with the old Mattel GB figures. But the quality does seem somewhat inferior compared to those. Mainly due to sculpt work, maybe? Mattel should really keep the Four Horsemen working on their stuff. Their “in house” sculpting guys just don’t seem to have the same skills.
The good news is that the proton streams from the original GB figures can be attached to the 2016 crew no problem.
I found the movie entertaining, but I wish they did some sort of montage in the movie, instead of just busting one ghost. We don’t even see a containment unit for the ghost. Still, my little girl loved it and that’s what matters the most to me.
Now if they would just make a proper Kevin figure, I think my wife would be ecstatic.
