Gokin Gear clear red acrylic “V” for Soul of Chogokin Voltes V
This little add-on for Soul of Chogokin Voltes is meant to replicate the moment Voltes completes his combination sequence and forms a big letter “V” in the cartoon series.
I do wish the baggie was resealeable instead of having to cut the edge off. The packaging leaves much to be desired.Since it’s acrylic, the prop comes with a paper sticker covering to prevent scratches.
Voltes Five!!!!
Not bad for 700 Yen I guess. Personally I feel that it should be yellow instead of red, as that’s the more prominent color that comes to mind when we think of the “combination complete” pose (the color actually shifts from red/pink to yellow before Voltes punches through).
It’s too bad we can’t use this prop for when he does his V-slash on his enemies, as the “V” in that scene has the tips pointing outward instead of inward.
