Lego Looney Tunes
1. Lola Bunny
Lola comes with her basketball for an accessory. It’s not a solid ball so it plugs into her hand easily enough.
2. Bugs Bunny
Bugs of course comes with his carrot. So he can do his famous “What’s up, doc?” bit.
3. Wily E. Coyote
I think his accessory is supposed to be an anvil?
Too bad the anvil doesn’t come with any “Acme Co.” logos on it, that’d be cool.
4. Road Runner
He comes with food? I’m not entirely sure what this is supposed to be.. eggs maybe??
Growing up, I think the only Looney Tunes cartoon I hated was Road Runner. I never enjoyed it and it got tiresome really fast, I honestly wished that one time, the coyote would win so we could get some proper justice for all his attempts … lol..
5. Tweety Bird
Since Tweety is supposed to be “small” Lego opted to give him their standard “kid” legs, lacking any articulation… sigh…
His accessory is a huge mallet.
6. Sylvester the Cat
Sylvester comes with a bat (club?) for an accessory. Perfect for whacking pesky rodents..
7. Daffy Duck
The little black duck comes with a “Rabbit Season” sign. Ah… classic.
8. Speedy Gonzales
The same as with Tweety, Speedy is given Lego “kid legs” to shorten his height, again, lacking articulation. How in the world is this mouse going to outrun Sylvester??
He comes with small cheese wedges for accessories.
Yeah… those “kid legs” on Speedy and Tweety really improve the scale, eh, guys? lol… maybe not.
9. Tasmanian Devil
Uhhh… what?? They have the same tail? What are you smoking, Lego?
Taz comes with pie and a chicken leg for accessories, he can also comes with a disc platform to stand on, so he can “spin” around.
10. Marvin the Martian
Marvin comes with his ray gun for an accessory. Make sure to check the baggie for his skirt, too. I almost missed it and noticed to the skirt after I was done assembling the figure.
11. Petunia Pig
Petunia comes with a tea set for her accessories. I honestly cannot remember her appearing in any of the old cartoons. I feel like this is a wasted character slot and would’ve preferred Foghorn Leghorn instead here.
12. Porky Pig
Porky comes with his “That’s all, folks!” sign. I sort of wish he came with a red backdrop too, to complete the look.
The whole gang
I honestly never thought we would get Lego Looney Tunes minifigures. I loved these guys growing up, watching them on bootleg Betamax tapes gave me countless hours of happiness back when I didn’t have much to do (my parents were usually busy and my older siblings had school, so these guys kept me company while I was generally alone at home). I do hope they make the rest of the crew, like Elmer, Foghorn Leghorn, Granny, Mugsy and Rocko and so many more.
