Marvel Legends Across the Spider-Verse Spider-man

Peter Parker (a.k.a. Spider-man) of Earth-1610 was the hero from Miles’ Morales home dimension. Unfortunately, this “variant” of Spider-man is killed in action while trying to stop the Kingpin from performing a reality-destroying experiment, leaving Miles Morales to step in and fill Peter’s shoes as Spider-man.
The figure reuses parts from the previously released variations of “Into the Spider-Verse’s” Peter B. Parker.

Unmasked Peter Parker head. It’s a reuse of the Peter B. Parker head we got from way back in the “Into the Spider-Verse” Marvel Legends Stilt-man Wave back in 2020, only this time painted blonde to match Earth-1610’s Peter Parker.

I can’t say I’m a fan of this style of mid-torso articulation. It removes the waist joint, while also “breaking” the line art of the upper torso when being posed.

I suppose you don’t have to use those joints, but, man… it sure makes the figure boring if you don’t.
Aside from the Peter head, we get optional web-shooting hands for ol’ webhead.
Using a Third-Party display base to get more mileage out of my one millionth (or so) Marvel Legends Spider-man figure…

As seen in the movie, Earth-1610’s Peter pretty much had a great life. Aunt May knows about his alter ego, he’s married to MJ, and he’s got a Spider-cave basement loaded with all sorts of tech, so I’m guessing this universe’s Peter must be super rich to pull that off.
Overall, not bad, I guess. It only took Hasbro three releases to finally give us a proper “Into the Spider-Verse” Spider-man (“hobo” Peter B. Parker Spidey, followed by the masked Spidey in sweatpants). Geez… I wish Hasbro rolled this guy out instead of the sweatpants version from the previous wave. That was really embarrassing. Ah well, at least now we have him in hand.
