Marvel Legends Astonishing X-men Wolverine
Based on Wolverine’s uniform during the Astonishing X-men run by Grant Morrison and John Cassaday. This suit serves as an updated look for his old blue and yellow “tigerstripe” costume.

Can’t say I’m a fan of the execution for the mid-torso joint here.
Surprisingly, for the first time ever, Hasbro included a “pointing” hand for Wolverine. Pretty good.
Wolverine also comes with an “open palm” right hand. Pretty interesting choices for accessories with this release. I am all grateful for them.
Lastly, the set also comes with an unmasked head.
Can’t say I like the headsculpt and hair sculpt here. I’ve seen better from this line.
It’s a shame we don’t get an “unmasked cowl” accessory for when Wolverine’s mask is off.
Hmm.. Now that I think about it, Wolverine should be super heavy with all that Adamantium metal bonded to his skeleton. It’d be like carrying weighs around all the time.
Overall, I think this is one of the better releases for Wolverine. While the unmasked headsculpt isn’t that great, it does come with optional new hands that we’ve never gotten for this iconic X-man.
Since this came out back in April (it’s July as I write this), I was pretty stoked to come across this at the recent local Toycon, since I haven’t seen him at the malls for a while now. At decent prices too!
