Scarlet Witch (Movie Version)

Hmm… the likeness for Elisabeth Olsen is a bit off, but regardless, Hasbro did a really nice job with dolling her up. She looks like a supermodel here.

I’m also glad the designers for the movie didn’t go with the classic red cape, pointy head dress and odd costume choice from the old days. A more practical costume design works very well here.

The effects parts for her don’t quite cut it. Hope they can make something better down the road.

All we need now is Vision and we’ve got the whole MCU cast up complete for the ML line. Nice.

Secret War Captain America

Based on the Secret War mini-series back in 2004, where Nick Fury recruits Cap, Wolverine and Spide, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Black Widow on a top secret mission to invade Latveria. I honestly never thought we would get a figure of that Cap. I wonder if we will see repaints of the other heroes in their “stealth” suits from the comic.

Gotta love this “throwing” effect accessory.

“When Captain America throws his mighty shield…”

The shield can be positioned to peg onto Cap’s back as well.

I think the stealth design for the Cap suit is one of the best redecos for his costume I’ve seen.

Captain Britain

Captain Britain’s powers were originally bestowed upon him by the wizard Merlin, but later on the source of his powers changed to him being the son of an alternate dimensional being.

Lol… the head gear makes me think of the 2014 Robocop reboot.

Originally he was meant to be the UK version of Captain America, but also has the ability of flight, energy beams as well as Super Strength, speed, durability and endurance.

Man he looks way too buff, especially next to Cap. I wish Hasbro used the Cap body mold instead of Venom.

Yeah, waaaay too buff.

Eel

Eel is one of the low level Marvel villains, but is more recently seen as a part of the Serpent Society (under Hydra, Cap’s main nemesis). His powers are generated by his suit and the suit also has friction-less abilities, hence the name “Eel”

Guess Hasbro’s finally getting more mileage out of those old Amazing Spider-man Electro parts eh? Good thing this figure comes with “normal” fists so the lighting-fingertip hands are optional.

Wave those party hands!!

Zap! Zap!

Wonder Man

Simon William’s powers were given to him by Baron Zemo as part of a plot to infiltrate and destroy the Avengers. He later turned on Zemo’s gang and joined the Avengers full-time. His powers include flight, Super Strength, enhanced vision and hearing and the ability to fire ionic energy beams.

Simon comes with “ionic power” hands.

They also included some cool effects parts for Wonder Man. Too bad they didn’t include sunglasses for him too. He often wore sunglasses in the old comics to hide his red eyes.

Iron Skull

I’m not entirely sure if this ever appeared in the comics but Iron Skull is mostly known in the Animated series “Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes”. Where M.O.D.O.K. was able to steal one of Iron Man’s suits and Arc Reactors and transplant them onto a dying Red Skull.

Lol..I don’t see how Skull’s noggin can fit inside the Iron Man helmet.

The armor is a redeco of the MK42 figure I believe.

For some reason I can’t get past how this reminds me of Jason Todd’s Red Hood.

It’s a shame they didn’t retool this figure so it can do repulsor hand blasting poses.

Abomination

Abomination is a Hulk villain, this figure was originally released in the SDCC 2016 The Raft boxset and I gotta say, this version beats the SDCC version by a mile! Mostly due to the improved paint apps. The SDCC one is just dull to look at now.

Ok, Hasbro really needs to give us a decent Hulk figure now to go toe to toe with this guy. The closest version that I have that can match it is still the Hulk figure from the Face Off series by Toybiz.

Comparison with the SDCC version.

Man the SDCC really looks so plain in light of this one now. Sadly, if you want to go for “comic book accuracy” then the SDCC version is the more accurate one (thanks to a good friend who told me about this)
