Marvel Legends Crystar (Mindless One Wave)
As one of the twin princes of the planet Crystalium and leader of the Crystal Warriors for Order, Crystar leads the struggle against his corrupted twin brother Moltar and his Magma Men.
Despite being made from clear plastic and released 3 years ago, the figure has yet to yellow. Hopefully, it stays that way.
I think Hasbro did a great job here, the use of semi-translucent parts for the joints doesn’t look too bad.
Naturally, Crystar comes with his sword and shield.
With his buddy, Warbow (from the Executioner wave), who is the reason I had to backtrack this figure.
Overall, a pretty decent release. I love how they executed the clear parts and joints and the use of rubbery parts for his gloves and boots all come together in a neat package.
While I’m not really familiar with this character, I am glad I backtracked this to pair him up with Warbow. I’m also really grateful some local shops still have this guy on hand this late into the game. I wonder if they’ll make more characters from this series? The original toyline from Remco rolled out a whole bunch of figures back in the day.
