Marvel Legends Dark Avengers Warbird
After being recruited by Norman Osborn to be a part of his new U.S. government-sanctioned “Avengers” team, the former villainess known as Moonstone (Karla Sofen) takes on the mantle of Captain Marvel, reporting directly to Osborn alongside powerful ex-villains, working as “heroes”.
Similar to Carol’s original costume, Karla’s outfit has a ridiculously long scarf to go with it.
The set comes with a “classic” Carol Danvers Captain Marvel headsculpt based on her hairstyle from the 70’s. This is the default head plugged into the figure when you first get her out of the box.
Not too shabby, but I definitely prefer the modern Dark Warbird headsculpt.
Thankfully, the set comes with effects parts for Captain Marvel.
With the Moonstone figure.
Overall, I like it a lot! The new female body really looks great on this figure and it really shows when you place it next to the older body type like Moonstone’s.
