Marvel Legends Deadpool & Wolverine – Blade

As a highly-skilled and powerful vampire hunter, Blade has taken an oath to rid the world of the scourge of all vampires. A genetic anomaly, Blade is technically half-vampire, half-human. As such, Blade is still able to walk out in the sun without fear of being destroyed by sunlight, he has since earned the monicker, the “Daywalker”.

The headsculpt of actor Wesley Snipes is pretty good.

I love that Hasbro included an alternate “smirking” face for this figure!

Even better, both heads come with their own sunglasses!

Blade comes with some nifty weapons, starting with this little sidearm on his left thigh. I would imagine it shoots silver bullets?

Next is his bolo. While not as flashy as his old katana sword, it still gets the job done for slicing up opponents.

As this look is based on Blade’s recent cameo in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie, I really hope we get a proper 90’s “younger” movie Blade figure soon in the Marvel Legends line. The first Blade movie came out almost 30 years ago!

Overall, I love it! We finally get a movie-based Blade in the Marvel Legends line. It’s been ages since we first got him in the old Toybiz days and this guy is way past due for a modernized update. The headsculpts are pretty amazing and spot on!

I just wish they gave him his iconic black coat in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie, though. Ah well.

I’m still on the fence for getting Cassandra Nova and X-23. Time will tell if I backtrack them.
