Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Iron Man Mark II

After returning from a life-changing experience in the desert, Tony Stark decides to refine his latest and greatest invention, the Iron Man armor. Crafting a sleeker design, the Mark II armor also allows Stark to fly for long periods of time.
The figure is a redeco of the Mark III Iron Man armor.

Same as with the Mark III, the set comes with an alternate open mask head so we can see Tony.

The set comes with “open palms” for Iron Man. Interestingly, they don’t have any holes for you to plug the Repulsor effects parts into.
The Repulsor effects parts are meant to plug into Iron Man’s feet.

I really, really love the background music for the test flight scene (“Driving with the Top Down”). Easily one of the best musical scores I’ve heard in my life. The man behind the movie’s musical score, Ramin Djawadi, has gone on to score big name projects such as Game of Thrones and Pacific Rim. It’s a shame Marvel didn’t let him do more MCU projects. His only other MCU project was the Eternals.
Overall, nothing really “wow” about this set, but that is to be expected, as it is a straight up redeco of the Mark III armor. I do sort of wish Hasbro added some sort of shine to the figure to capture its look in the movie, but I guess that would be too crazy expensive to do.
Still, I’m glad I was finally able to grab this one on clearance before it sold out, just to complete the MCU Hall of Armor set up I’ve got planned for in my head.
