Marvel Legends Retro Collection Firelord
Hailing from the planet, Xandar, Pyreus Kril is chosen to become a Herald of Galactus, to seek out new worlds for the Planet Devourer to consume. Given the Power Cosmic, he gains superhuman strength, speed and durability. He can also project energy from his eyes and staff. Firelord can also travel through space faster than the speed of light.
Naturally, Firelord comes with his flaming staff.
I used a third-party display base to get some more mileage out of this figure.
Overall, a pretty good figure. It’s the first time EVER we are getting a Firelord figure in the Marvel Legends line since the series started way back in 2002 (!). Best of all, since it’s released as a solid case of 6 in a box, so this figure is not hard to get or find in the wild. I wish Hasbro did this with all their releases going forward.
