Marvel Legends Ronan the Accuser
Ronan the Accuser serves as the Kree Empire’s “Supreme Accuser”, functioning as the Empire’s highest “judge, jury and executioner”. Strong and tactically brilliant, Ronan’s natural superhuman Kree abilities are heightened further by his exo-skeleton armor. He is also armed with the Cosmic-Rod “Universal Weapon”, which can harness cosmic energy and even manipulate matter.
The figure shares parts from Colossus from the X-men Warlock wave.
Standing at 7.5 inches, Ronan is fairly big.
It’s odd to see a present day deluxe category ML figure using the old “pinned” joints system.
Due to the design of his gauntlets, sometimes getting his wrists to rotate in order to hold his hammer is a huge pain. The arms only feature single elbow joints. It also sucks that the set doesn’t offer any extra hands for Ronan…
Thankfully, his shoulder pads are actually easy to un-tab, which is a good thing, as this will help with giving the figure’s shoulders more room to pose.
Ronan of course comes with his iconic hammer. It’s actually his only accessory.
His hammer is sometimes called the “Universal Weapon”.
Aside from harnessing Cosmic Energy, Ronan’s hammer can also create teleportation portals.
Funfact: In the comics, Ronan was at one point married to the Inhuman Crystal.
Overall, not too shabby, but it does leave much to be desired in terms of accessories (no extra hands even?? For a deluxe figure? Shame, Hasbro).
Still, it’s good to see another character get a proper “classic look” upgrade, as the older comics-styled Ronan we got in the Marvel Legends line (from waaaaay back in the 2007 Fantastic Four series) is starting to look a seriously outdated.
