Marvel Legends The Man Called Nova (2021)
Chosen by the last member of the Nova Corps, Rhomann Dey, Richard Rider dons the mantle of the last Nova Centurion.
As Nova, D!ck Rider (lol..) has access to the “Nova Force”, an infinite energy source, which gives him the ability of flight, super strength, speed and durability, as well as the power absorb and redirect energy.
The costume’s helmet can provide life support functions in space, as well as give Richard night vision, thermal vision and telescopic sight. The helmet also becomes as soft as cloth when not worn, which works for storing it under Richard’s civilian clothes when not in use.
Interestingly, the figure does not have any holes on his back for pegging flight stands into. C’mon! Nova needs to be posed in a flight pose!
Qubit
Qubit is synthorganic being of the Manufactured Harmonites. He’s another Centurion in the Nova Corps.
Overall, a better-proportioned version of the previously released classic Nova figure from waaaay back in 2009 in the early days of Hasbro doing Marvel Legends (the Holocaust wave, to be precise). While the “modern” costume Nova figure from the Guardians of the Galaxy 1 Groot wave was pretty good, it was based on the Annihilation saga look of the character. So if you want a proper classic look for nova, this is the version to get .
