Marvel Legends X-men ’97 Jean Grey
One of the Marvel Universe’s Omega-level mutants and highly gifted telepaths, Jean Grey can read the thoughts of others, as well as project her thoughts to communicate and even manipulate them into doing what she wants. She can also move objects with her mind through telekinesis and hurl them at her opponents. When fused with the Phoenix Force, Jean’s abilities allow her to manipulate matter even on a molecular scale.
The figure features all new tooling.
Her ponytail ball joint tends to pop off a lot quite easily. Be careful not to lose the tail when it comes off.
For extra accessories, the figure comes with an alternate “hair down” version head.
Overall, I think this might the best Jean Grey figure we’ve gotten yet from the Legends line. It certainly is a huge step forward from the derpy-looking VHS figure we got previous to this release.
I’m still on the fence as to whether I want to get Scott. As I was pretty OK with the VHS version and the new headsculpt on the ’97 version seems a bit too young.
Yep… I really have a soft spot for redheads.
