Welp, I had originally decided to pass on the line, since I didn’t feel like going out of my way to order these from the US, but fortunately, it seems like the local distributor finally decided to bring these in. I was able to get these at the mall.
Mainly thanks to the improved reissues of the main Superfriends starting with wave 3, I gave in and decided to at least grab just the original five Superfriends (passing on the Wonder Twins).
Even better, the Batman in wave 3 has an extra layer to his cape to make the front side black and has an improved headsculpt. Superman got reissued with wave 4 as “Farmer Superman” alongside Mxyzptlk, plus we finally Wonder Woman in the same wave!
I just need to backtrack Aquaman. The Super Enemies Aquaman was purchased online and the seller shipped the wrong one to me. Sigh.. I didn’t feel like returning the figure so decided to keep him around for now.
I won’t bother with the Legion of Doom, as it seems unlikely we’ll be getting Solomon Grundy before 2027 comes in (McFarlane toys loses the DC License at the end of 2026, meaning no new product will follow).
