S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Goku (Legendary Super Saiyan)

Based on Goku’s heavily-damaged appearance in the 100th episode of the original Dragon Ball Z series. After Goku changes into the Super Saiyan of Legend for the first time in episode 95, he and Frieza battle it out for several episodes, losing more and more of his uniform as the battle rages on.

This figure sports an all-new redesigned body. Giving Goku more poseability than previously possible.

Yeah, this is definitely the most naked we’ve ever seen Goku for the S.H. Figuarts line. Lol..

Man, Goku probably buys his outfits in bulk, since his uniform gets totally trashed at the end of every adventure!

As usual, the set comes with lots of optional faces for Goku.

Smirking face.

Yelling face.

Angry face.

There’s also an extra alternate hair piece for Goku as well. It’s so we can change his bangs to recreate his look when he fires his Kamehameha.

It’s been a while since we’ve gotten effects parts for figures that weren’t exclusives. Thankfully, the set offers Kamehameha effects parts for Goku this time around.

As usual, some assembly for the Kamehameha is required.

This figure is really a lot of fun to pose!

Overall, pretty cool. I love that we’re getting an all-new body for “beat up Goku” and I am glad they included effects parts for the set. The great face sculpts really bring out some nice expressions with this figure.

Best of all, we didn’t have to pay P-Bandai exclusive prices for this set.
