S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Goku The Games Begin
After villainous Cell completes his Perfect Form, he creates the Cell Games to test out his new body by taking on any and all challengers to try to defeat him. Goku is the first one to fight Cell i one-on-one in the opening match.
This figure features the latest body design for Super Saiyan Son Goku in the S.H. Figuarts line. With all-new sculpting and joints to allow Goku to do better poses than previous releases.
I love how Goku’s ankle rocker joint can go this far, no sweat.
The alternate hair piece has an indention at the base of the neck, so that Goku can look up for flying poses.
Goku still comes with the usual assortment of extra hands and facial expressions, such as this one for recreating his “Instant Teleportation” move.

Overall, pretty good! Despite this being the nth release of Goku in the S.H. Figuarts line, somehow, Bandai still finds a way to innovate the body design and give fans something to look forward to with every release.
I think this may well be my favorite Goku figure release so far. He really is a lot of fun to pose thanks to the smoother joints. I just wish they included some energy effects parts.
