S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku Effect Parts Set- Teleport Kamehameha
The set comes with several building options for the “power up aura” effects part.
For standing figures, the “legged” option is what you use.
An new, alternate head for Goku is included with this set.
To pose Goku firing his Kamehameha, this huge, heavy piece is used. It even comes with “sculpted-in” hands for easier use.
Alternately, you can take apart the effects piece and plug in this shorter variation of the effect.
For “flying” effects mode, a base is included, complete with clip attachments for holding figures.
An interesting locking mechanism for the display arm.

Heh… optional “rocks” for the display base.

This set is marketed as an optional diorama set for Super Saiyan Goku when he executes his Shunkan Idō Kamehameha/ Teleport Kamehameha (sometimes called the Instant Kamehameha) attack. This attack was first utilized by Goku during the Cell Games saga.
As an optional bonus, you can also position the effect in a way that it seems like Goku is flying in to attack at high speeds. Pretty nifty.
The effects piece is actually mounted on a hexagonal post, so there’s no chance of it accidentally spinning into the wrong orientation. Clever.
Overall, pretty cool! When this was first offered, I had no idea how elaborate the actual product would be. I just thought it was just an aura effects set and that was it. I didn’t expect it to have a base, optional parts and more. Since the Teleport Kamehameha is one of Goku’s more cooler attacks, I love that this set captures the spirit of it perfectly.
I think my only gripe would be the lack of electronics to light up the base and provide audio effects of Goku’s “powering up”. Irwin Toys was able to pull that off back in the day for less than %20. I wish Bandai would try to release something like that, too.
