S.H. Figuarts Tanjiro Kamado
The last surviving member of his family, Tanjiro Kamado searches for a cure for his sister’s demon blood affliction, ultimately leading him to train under the Demon Slayer Corps in order to train to defeat the Demon Lord Muzan Kibutsuji and restore his sister to normal.
Tanjiro comes with two different swords, his original sword and a later one which has the Flame Hashira’s sword crest which he keeps as a memento.
When handling the figure, be extra careful with his head. The points on his hair are SHARP!
Personally, I find Tanjiro’s “normal” face expression a little too blank. I can’t say I like it.
Thankfully, his other expressions are better.
Overall, not bad. I skipped on getting figures from this series, as the start of the show, most of the characters are extremely annoying. Thankfully, that nonsense was greatly toned down as the series progressed.
I finally pulled the trigger on getting Tanjiro, after watching Infinity Castle in all its impressive visual glory. The figure is really well made, and it really looks great thanks to all the details on his coat. The base facial expression could’ve been done better IMHO, but at least other expressions all look great.
I’ll still pass on his friends though, as I still find them a bit annoying. Tanjiro’s all that matters (maybe I’ll get Nezuko if I see her).
Just a headsup, there is a re-release version of S.H. Figuarts Tanjiro, with new box art featuring the Infinity Castle. This new version will come with an extra “silly” expression face. So if you’re going to get S.H Figuarts Tanjiro, that’s the one to go for.
