Storm Collectibles King of Fighters Iori Yagami
As Kyo Kusanagi’s self-appointed rival, Iori has a deep, instinctive hatred for Kyo, most likely due to their ancestral history going back 660 years.
Like Kyo, Iori can control flames he creates (he can’t control flames created by others), his flame has a bluish tint due to his bloodline being corrupted by his ancestors’ blood pact with Orochi to get revenge on the Kusanagi Clan. His fighting style is the Yasakani form of martial arts, which utilizes brutal claw attacks on their opponents.
Despite his rude attitude and general apathy, Iori does follow his own moral code. Whenever the Orochi seal is threatened, Iori does rise to the challenge and even sets aside his rivalry with Kusanagi to save the day, on multiple occasions.

Too bad the set does NOT come with a display base for Iori, this base only comes with Kyo.
While the figure does come with these straps for his legs (just like in the game), it does somewhat limit his poses. Oh well…
Lastly, the set comes with a nice big background you can pose the figure with. It’s based on Iori’s stage in KOF ’98.
With his rival, Kyo Kusanagi
Interestingly, it’s never revealed why Iori hates Kyo so much, whether its instinctual because of their respective clan’s history, or if it’s something else entirely, it’s never been fully explored.
Funfact: Supposedly, Iori is actually a skilled musician (he plays the bass guitar) and a good singer.
