Exclusive only to Tamashii Nations 2025 events, the Chogokin Robot was created to celebrate 50 years of the Chogokin brand name. Boasting an impressive 95% metal content, this figure is really heavy to hold in your hand.

Chogokin Robot stands roughly 4.5 inches tall and weighs 227 Grams (261 Grams with the sword).
Impressively, the toy also features an “auto-morphing” gimmick. Rotating the chest will make his head pop out from the torso. Very cool.
Ye ole “Popy” logo can be found on his back.
Sadly, one major drawback of the toy having so much metal is that Bandai had to cut down on the joints to minimize costs. The toy has very minimal articulation, it doesn’t even have elbow or neck joints.
It doesn’t have any knee joints either. But at least it transforms.
The sword easily fits into the figure’s hand.
Overall, pretty good. I love the heft of the figure and it does look really nice in both modes. I would’ve liked it if it sported some added articulation, but I guess it is what it is.
From what I understand, it’s a bit difficult to score this figure overseas. I guess it’s a good thing we managed to have a local Bandai event so exclusives such as these can be more accessible for local collectors.
