Transformers Age of the Primes Commander Class Silverbolt

Silverbolt’s Electrostatic Discharger Rifle can be mounted underneath the front nosecone of the alt mode.

Booster section (Superion frame)

Attached to Silverbolt in jet mode.

The booster actually features ports for you to mount the Aerialbots on up top. This serves as a transport, I guess, or docking bay of sorts for making a base theme for the Aerialbots.

You can actually mount all 4 of the limb bots onto the platform, I was just too lazy to figure out how. lol…

Silverbolt

As team leader of the Aerialbots, Silverbolt is a brave fighter and is loyal to his companions and the Autobot cause. As the largest Aerialbot, Silverbolt is the slowest and least manuverable in the skies. Ironically, he has a fear of heights, so he can’t really fly too high when in jet mode. Refusing to give into fear, he instead trains his focus on the welfare of his team to get past his phobia.

Gaah.. those gaps in the forearms look terrible.

Silverbolt comes with his iconic Electrostatic Discharger Rifle.

You can opt to have Silverbolt link his Electrostatic Discharger Rifle with the larger Stress Fracture Cannon meant for Superion for a huge weapon.

Booster/ Superion Frame
When not connected to Silverbolt, the booster section transforms into a shielded turret for him to use.

Too bad Silverbolt can’t grip the cannon with both arms in this set up. There’s nothing for him to grab onto.

Superion Frame

Superion looks good even without the Aerialbots on his limbs.

Overall, a very good release. I definitely like the proportions on this version better compared to the previous Combiner Wars release. The gaps in Silverbolt’s forearms are just a terrible sight to behold, though.
Much like Menasor, the Superion frame is a nice concept, as it gives better detail compared to the CW version. I also love the shielded turret configuration for the frame, as it gives us something to do with the it when the Aerialbots are not combined. Very nicely done.
