Transformers Fans Toys FT-24 Rouge (Masterpiece Arcee)

Fanstoys items usually come with an outer plastic baggie to protect the box.

Plastic cover on the figure inside the tray.

I think this is the most number of accessories ever included in a Fans Toys figure.

Since this is a Third Party, non-official item, it’s best to get some stickers from Reprolabels/Toyhax.com to make this guy more “toon-accurate”.

To apply, I find the best way to stick the stickers on is to use the tip of a blade, this way you have more control over the application, as compared to using just your fingers. You can also use the blade to help gently peel off a corner of the sticker in case you didn’t center it right and need to re-apply.

Arcee is one of (and the only?) female Autobot(s) in the year 2005 . In the cartoons she is often seen acting like a big sister to her Autobot teammates and is very protective of her friends. In the IDW comics timeline, she’s more of a hardcase with violent, sociopathic tendencies.

The set comes with an alternate pair of hands, however, they have the same fixed pose as the default ones, the only real difference is the addition of pegs for holding her guns.

Transforming Rogue isn’t too bad. But there are times it can get confusing if you can’t follow which flaps are supposed to go where. Best to follow video guides if you can.

Rouge stands roughly 7.5 inches tall and weighs 181 Grams.

Diecast parts include:
–Chest panel (both versions)
–Lower legs (knees?)
–Feet

The set comes with an alternate “show accurate” chest plate. The default plate installed is the curvy one.

I really don’t like the gap on the chest panel. Really poor engineering here IMHO.

When swapping the chest pieces, make sure to swap this piece as well, it’s not included in the alternate chest piece and is needed when you plan to transform Rogue into vehicle mode.

Rouge comes with various faces. My favorite one is the visored look.

Overall, not bad but not great. I have to say I hate the silly gaps on her chest and the transformation is again difficult to figure out at times (a usual thing with FT releases, go figure). Still, I love the sculpt, paint, accessories and details on the figure. The diecast on this, while minimal compared to the usual FT heft, is still pretty decent.

Other alternatives include the Ocular Max’s Azalea and the just announced upcoming official Takara Tomy Masterpiece Arcee.
