Transformers Missing Link C-09 Bumblebee & Cliffjumper

Bumble (Bumblebee)

As one of the smallest Autobots around, Bumblebee is the perfect scout for the team. Brave, loyal and always trying to show he’s got what it takes to be around the toughest of the Autobots, Bumblebee is always ready to volunteer to go behind enemy lines to gather critical intel for the Autobot cause.

The figure is a retool redeco of the Missing Link C-03 Bumblebee, this time sporting more toon-accurate parts and colors.

The toon accurate headsculpt looks really good.

Same as with the C-03, the figure is super poseable thanks to all the new joints.

He also comes with his toon-accurate pistol blaster.

Cliff (Cliffjumper)

Fast, tough and hates Decepticons more than anything, Cliffjumper tends to rush in and bite off more than he can chew in most situations.

The figure is a retool redeco of the Missing Link C-04 Cliffjumper, this time sporting more toon-accurate parts and colors.

Ol’ Cliff’ comes with his iconic Glass Gas gun.

Getting hit with the gas from this weapon automatically makes things brittle as glass, even metal.

As with the previous release, his gun can be stowed away in his left foot.

Cliffjumper also comes with his bazooka, where he tried (and failed) to assassinate Megatron in the first episode of the Transformers.

The most popular minibot duo.

The rub sign stickers are located on the bottoms of their right feet.

Overall, pretty good. I love the new show-accurate colors, sculpts and overall aesthetics.
Although, I do wish Takara Tomy didn’t resort to sneaky tricks and just release these versions from the get go, as these are what the fans want, instead of having folks double down. Especially when you consider the price points on these are practically on par with Masterpiece level releases.
For now, I’m holding off on pre-ordering Missing Link Ratchet and Ironhide, as I have a sinking feeling we’ll be getting version 2.0 redecos of those two as well.
I also had a some trouble getting the feet to come together and close the gap in vehicle mode (as you can see in the pics). Not really deal breakers, but annoying to see.
