Transformers Takara Legends LG-09 Brainstorm
Homage to the G1 toy’s “tech specs” gimmick.
As much as I love Brainstorm, a part of me does wish it looked more like G1 toy (the head and wings are just… off) rather than the IDW comics figure. I’m also surprised they went with this Headmaster first, rather than Chromedome or the rest, who were more prominent in the G1 cartoons.
It’s a shame Brainstorm doesn’t come with his iconic “briefcase”, which was a big plot device in the IDW comics for a lot of issues (he carried it around in every adventure!), I mean, if you’re going to go one way instead of the other, may as well go all out right?
Hope we get more Headmasters. .
