Transformers Takara Legends LG-55 Slugslinger

Head Master Slugslinger
In the Hasbro version, the headmaster is named Caliburst, his ability is to grant his partner ultra-high-speed fireblasts.

Head on!
Slugslinger never really stood out for me as a character in the G1 cartoons (both US and Japanese versions of the Master series). But I love the vehicle modes of the Decepticon Target Masters. The designs looked really cool (especially when compared with the Autobot Target Masters).
Target Master Caliburst
Caliburst sports some basic articulation.

A port for Caliburst was added in the Takara version in vehicle mode.
Target on!

Comparison with the Hasbro version (Takara on the right)

The blue colors on the Takara version wins it by a mile over the duller colors of the Hasbro.

The original Decepticon Target Masters!

Target Masters
I’m really glad Takara went the distance and released these guys with separate designs, as opposed to “one mold, different colors” concepts.
