Considering he’s only a Deluxe figure, his box is extra wide, for his microscope mode.
His “microscope” lens is adjustable. Similar to the Hasbro version.

This version of Perceptor is actually based on the art by Guido Guidi in the IDW All Hail Megatron comic saga. Perceptor is pretty serious in this story. Instead of the usual “calm and cheerful scientist” demeanor, he now comes with a “tough and quiet” attitude and is armed with a sniper rifle. Makes one wonder what happened to him before the story started…
“Percy” also has a secret tank mode, based on his early “Micro Change” toy-era days. It’s not listed in the manual but you can more or less figure it out from the comic insert.
Interestingly, the tank mode was always part of the design, as evidenced by the hidden “wheels” underneath his feet.
