Transformers Unite Warriors UW-08 Computron
The art on the back of the manual
For those curious, the 2 humans in the illustration are actually a young Marissa Faireborn (in the episode “Forever is a Long Time Coming” she was blasted with chronal energy, making her young) and Dirk Manus, a scoundrel space trader ( from the episode “Money is Everything”).
His pistols can be equipped underneath the wings.
I love the concept in this boxset that all the Technobots have 2 guns.
Kickstand and new guns.
Afterburner is a retool of Groove and shares the same mold as the Hasbro version.
Odd design choice for the bike parts but this is how it goes in the manual.
Afterburner has all new guns! Woot!
Strafe here is a heavy retool of the Takara Blast Off mold.
Finally! Strafe has guns!!! The Hasbro version has zero guns.
Combiner part gun.
No guns? No problem! Cannon fists!
I personally think this is the best figure in the box.
Lightspeed
Lightspeed this time is a retool of the Suntreaker/Breakdown mold
Twin pistols
With the Computron part weapon.
Nosecone is a retool of the Hasbro Protectobot Rook.
Drill can be equipped on his hand.
Nosecone looks armed to the teeth.
Computron weapon part.
Computron
The Takara version of Computron follows the G1 cartoon colors.
The Technobot’s various guns can be equipped on Computron.
While Scatttershot and Nosecone’s rifles form up Computrons main gun. A gimmick not present in the Hasbro version.
Definitely way better than Hasbro’s version.

The Takara Technobot team
It’s a shame we never really got these characters fleshed out in the cartoons, unlike the Aerialbots. Guess they came too late to the party.
