Transformers vintage G1 Chromedome & Stylor

Admittedly, I decided to use reproduced stickers from to make the figure look more decent.

Egotistical and vain, Stylor prefers the more refined things in life, as opposed to fighting Decepticons or dull computer programming. This often puts him at odds with his partner, Chromedome. Still when things get rough, the two always put aside their differences to save the day.

Head On!

As a gimmick in the old G1 toyline, Headmasters reveal their skill levels when you plug in the Headmasters into the Transtectors. You can also swap the heads around and the skill levels will follow the headmaster when you plug it into another body. Pretty cool!

A computer programmer, Chromedome used to work for Cybertron’s Institute for Higher Programming, before the Decepticons reduced it to rubble. In the Japanese continuity, he is second-in-command of the Headmasters after Fortress Maximus and often functions as the Autobot’s field commander.

Chromedome comes with his dual lasers.

Headmaster can ride inside the vehicle mode.

The original Autobot Headmaster quartet (I didn’t have time to grab Cerebros from the Fort Max box to include in this shot).

“A battle plan is only as good as its programmer.”

A special thank you to local toyshop Robin’s toys for this figure. I was lucky to get three of the four Autobot Headmasters in great condition in one go.
