Arcadia Macross 1/60 VF-1S Hikaru Ichijo Movie Version
Bagged accessories
Valkyrie
Hikaru/ Rick Hunter (I’m glad he has his legs, I remember at one point Yamato cut off their pilot’s legs to fit into the c0ckpit. )
Fully loaded!
Gerwalk
Battroid
In Battroid mode, you can clip on optional “sides” to the mech, which makes it look more solid as opposed to hollow.
It’s been a few years since I bought a Macross item from Yamato/Arcadia. While this figure does have fine-tuned improvements, it still feels like the same toy IMHO.
Optional “open” left hand and “pointing” right hand.
Pilot access accessory. (Closed hatch on the right).
Weapon storage
I’m not sure if this is a new gimmick, but the c0ckpit can now be detached and stored onto another Battroid’s forearm for quick pilot rescues (just like in the early episodes of the show. )
This version stands a little over 9″.
And weighs about 198 Grams. Diecast parts are limited to the landing gears, and main sections of the “spine” for transforming to Battroid mode.
Display base
Storage compartments for accessories
Attaching the figure to the stand is…. difficult. It requires placing in plastic pieces into the figure and it’s not easy to do. More trouble than it’s worth really.
I hope they make the Fast Packs for this figure.
