Classic Gi Joe Trade paper back (TPB) collection
I never really read the old Joe comics growing up (too mature for me at the time I guess), but after reading all 14 volumes of Larry Hama’s writing, I gotta say I love the comics more now than the old cartoons.
I love the characterizations and insights into how Joe and Cobra work. Sadly, it got a little “off” close to the end (last 3 volumes) due to the stories being so “Ninja Force” centered. Plus the way it ended was somewhat sudden, pointless and didn’t really have much closure. Good thing IDW continued the franchise.
Still, I’d read this all over again any day over most of the current stories in comics now from Marvel and DC.
