Tomica Premium Unlimited Super Dimension Fortress Macross

VF-1S Valkyrie (Roy Fokker Ver.)
VF-1J Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijo Ver.)
VF-1J Valkyrie (Maximilian Jenius Ver.)

Inner tray and plastic baggies.

The main section of the plane is diecast, while the wings are plastic.
VF-1S Valkyrie (Roy Fokker Ver.)

Piloted by Roy Fokker, the ace pilot squadron leader for the SDF-1 Macross’ elite “Skull Squadron”, the VF-1S is usually reserved for Commander of Air Group (CAG) ranked officers.
Hmm.. you can barely make out the Valkyrie’s head on the underside of the unit. Sadly, the set doesn’t come with a gunpod attachment for the Valkyrie.
Since the plane doesn’t have any landing gears, you’ll have to rely on the display base pedestal to get it upright, otherwise it will look like a “crashed unit”.

VF-1J Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijo Ver.)

Piloted by Hikaru Ichijo, the VF-1J variation is usually reserved for senior officer rank or squadron leader rank.
The VF-1J’s underside is similar to the VF-1S, thanks to the “sunken” head and same placement of their Anti-Aircraft Laser Cannons. I guess it’s part of the reason why we didn’t get a VF-1A variation in this series, it would require new tooling.

VF-1J Valkyrie (Maximilian Jenius Ver.)

Piloted by Maximilian Jenius, the combat ace of the Skull Squadron. Max’s VF-1J variation is painted blue (Max’s signature colors).

The elite SDF-1 Skull Squadron.

Now that I think about it, it is a shame we didn’t get a Milia Fallyna Jenius VF-1J variation in this series. It would’ve been a nice addition to the team and would be an easy redeco use of this mold.

Released back in April of 2024 under the Tomica Premium line, I was really lucky to get a full set of these this late in at SRP (it’s already late Feb 2025 as of this writing). Big thanks to Greattoys for ordering this set for me.
