Transformers Legacy Deluxe Class Crosscut
Remember to check the back of the tray for the weapons and accessories.
As the Autobot Ambassador to other planets, Crosscut is fluent in over 6300 alien languages. He’s often sent on diplomatic missions during Autobot missions, explaining his absence in the battlefield. He is often paired with Road Rage as his bodyguard.
The figure is a straight up redeco of Burn Out, itself a redeco retool of Skids.
Crosscut comes with his Liquid Nitrogen Rifle and Twin Electron Blaster.
Same as with his mold-mates, Crosscut’s weapons can be combined to form a new weapon.
Crosscut comes with an Energon Axe.
Crosscut’s Energon Axe can be pegged into his back.
The Axe can also be deployed as a blaster.
Lastly, all of Crosscut’s weapons can be combined to form a super weapon.
Weapons can all be mounted on the vehicle mode.
Likewise, the super weapon can also be mounted on the vehicle mode.
I couldn’t find Road Rage to pair up with him (I mislabelled where I put her in storage, sigh… ), so I’ll have to return to that down the road.
Comparison with Skids and Burn Out
Overall, not too bad. This repaint was always expected since Hasbro already pulled the same trick with their Masterpiece version. I’m just glad it wasn’t included in an exclusive set or something and is part of mass retail release.
Now to see if they’ll release Reboost (the red redeco of this mold) down the road.
