Transformers Legacy Deluxe Class Minerva

A female Autobot medic, Minerva is highly skilled in repairing damage done to other Transformers. Formerly a Headmaster that was binary bonded to the Earth human of the same name, she eventually gained sentience at the end of Masterforce and now functions independently without her human partner, carrying the latter’s personality traits as her own. In the IDW 2019 comic relaunch, she is the chief medic of the Autobot sub-team, the Wreckers.
The figure is a retool of Legacy Elita-1.
Like Elita-1, her shoulder pauldrons can be re-adjusted to various styles if you’re not too comfortable with the default setting (though the default setting would be the most toon-accurate).
Minerva comes with her iconic Shock Gun.
She also comes with a clear Energon Blaster.
Both weapons can be combined to form a super weapon.
Her guns can be mounted on the vehicle mode.
Overall, I’m satisfied with this set. It’s a pretty close approximation to Minerva’s look in the old Masterforce Anime in robot mode (the vehicle mode leaves much to be desired though). The color scheme here certainly looks better than Elita-1. I just hope the plastic doesn’t yellow prematurely. It’s a shame they dropped the Headmaster gimmick entirely for this figure, but it is what it is.
